I thank you so much for this page, I gave my life to christ over4 years ago and some of my uglyness has come to remind me and scare me. One of our womans rereats our message was we are going into battle , and some times i forget that ous savior is bigger than any ugliness then i could produce. Thanks again!

say_say, how true you are. 1 corinthians 13 is definitely the best reflection (and reminder) of what love truly is. It's rough when you really look at it and how it calls you to toe the line. There's no way we can ever love someone without God's help. There are naysayers, I'm sure, but let them put it to the test.

So, this really blessed me! I don't even want to say all of the things I think about myself sometimes. I don't even understand why I thought about your cite today, but God really used you to bless me. Keep writing such encouraging things because a lot of times it's hard for us to move forward because we feel that we are unworthy. We are, but that's where God steps in. He is good, although we are not, and He promises to protect and keep us confident in our faith. I pray that God keeps blessing you, so you can bless others.

We all search for love. But, in reality, we don't even know what true love is because God is love. That's why we must let His Holy Spirit dwell in us and love through us. Our love is selfishness because we think about self, but God's loves is self-lessness because He thought only of us--sinful traitors.

God is so in love with you (us)! No person can replace that love. He wants to be that love in you! (I Cor. 13 describes love. It's good to read everyday. Just a reminder of how much God's in love with us and what His love causes Him to do.)

Parker: I will indeed join with you in prayer. number 1, to be asked to break the word off and educate people on the goodness/greatness of God, is such an awful honor. Secondly, the fact that you feel impressed to deal with this subject is wonderful. It's far beyond time for people to understand that we are going to have to go through things. God will be with us through it, not necessarily always rescuing us from it. He will be edified and glorified because you are willing to allow Him to work on those issues. come on, GBT crew, let's pray for our girl this week!

you're right. forgiveness is the key, but often such a hard one to obtain. The more we pray for the spirit of forgiveness, the more situations we seem to be in that require it. Hmm, is God up to something? ;0)

This truly blessed me My husband/Pastor aske that I speak this coming Sunday, and i have been asking God if that's His will first of all and if so I know He would give me a Word. I have been lead to Speak from Isaiah 54:17 "No Weapon;" you know the rest and this will be very helpful to me. Please pray with me that only What God want's me to say will go fourth and it will go fourth in His Power and Might that the body of Christ will be edified and God will be Glorified. I have been going through dealng with Unforgiveness, REsentment and Fear. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

God never said the weapons wouldn't be formed and that they wouldn't be launched, he said they would not prosper. He also said we would be vindicated by Him. This means that there will be pain, suffering, heartache and some misery. We must stand strong on the promise that WE WILL BE VINDICATED and wait on the Lord to fulfill that promise.
